HOMELESS REUNIFICATION AND REINTEGRATION
From shelter to stability, dignity and belonging through applied theatre.
1. FOCUS AREA
A structured 12‑month reunification and reintegration programme for homeless adults in second‑ and third‑phase shelter interventions.
We strengthen independence, restore dignity, rebuild family and community connections and equip participants with life skills, emotional resilience and practical tools for sustainable living.
2. THE NEED
Homeless adults face complex challenges that make lasting independence difficult without targeted support:
Breakdown of family and social relationships
Limited life skills and coping strategies
Unemployment and financial instability
Low self‑esteem and emotional distress
Lack of community belonging and support
High risk of returning to homelessness
Need for structured guidance and aftercare
3. TARGET GROUPS
Adults (18+) currently residing in shelters who:
Are in second‑ or third‑phase shelter interventions
Have demonstrated commitment to their Personal Development Plans
Are participating in developmental activities
Show potential to transition to independent living
Require support with family reunification, skills development or reintegration
We prioritise individuals who are motivated to create long‑term positive change.
4. OUR TEAM
Our multidisciplinary team brings together expertise in social work, applied theatre, counselling, life skills and programme management. The team includes:
Programme Manager – Leadership, planning and oversight
Social Workers – Case management, assessments
Applied Theatre Facilitators – Theatre methodology, facilitation and creative development
Life Skills Facilitators – Practical skills and empowerment
Community Reintegration Officer – Family and community linkages, referrals
Administration Officer – Coordination, records and reporting
